Individual Therapy
My clients often show up to therapy because of a need for meaningful change, and a desire to feel happier and more fulfilled. You may find yourself:
Struggling with self-doubt and a harsh, critical inner voice.
Overwhelmed with worry and anxiety that leaves you disempowered and exhausted.
Stuck repeating the same patterns over and over.
Navigating a new or difficult circumstance such as death of a loved one, assault, or loss of a relationship, and struggling to accept and understand what has happened.
Exploring issues of gender and sexuality.
Wanting to better understand your identity, process the disempowering messages you have received, and find a greater sense of safety and embodiment.
Feeling sad, far away, and disconnected from yourself and others.
Individual therapy is a space to process and move past the painful experiences that stick with us and hold us back, and to better understand ourselves, and the obstacles we face. Through insight, self-awareness, and attunement, we will work to help you find clarity, agency, freedom, and ease. My role is to listen to your story, and to help facilitate this process.
Together we will explore
How your early experiences have shaped your understanding of the world around you.
What stories you tell about yourself and how they have become rigid or fixed.
How your unique cultural identity guides your experience, and the impact of societal expectations.
How you can begin to shift your internal narrative, learn to support yourself in healthier ways, and create freedom and meaningful change in your life.
